NICA/C4The future of cycling.
What is NICA?
NICA is a youth Mountain biking league who’s mission is to “build strong minds, bodies, character, and communities through cycling.” Through NICA kids from Junior High through High School can practice and compete againsts peers throughout the country. NICA has teams throughout the country that are supported by sponsors, volunteers, and coaches. Rolling H has been apart of the NICA world for three years, during this time they have recruited a team of student athletes and even become apart of the coaching staff for the C4 team. Learn more about NICA and it’s opportunities here. Or stop by the shop and chat with us about it!
New to mountain biking? Perfect! We welcome riders of all skill levels and experience. The C4 team is a composite team made up of students from various schools in Canyon County, ages middle school through high school. The coaches of C4 are part of yours truly. Adam and Jessica volunteer their time and experience to mentoring this youth program. The best way to learn more about what it takes to be apart of the C4 team is to stop by our shop and talk to us! Basically, if you love to ride bikes and work hard your a great candidate for the team.
We recruit parents too! A huge part of what makes C4 and NICA possible are the parents who support our riders. There is always a need for volunteers at refuel stations, to accomplish efficient transportation and of course moral support. C4 is a family of riders and supporters alike.
Our team grows every year as do the resources necessary to sustain that growth. If you don’t have time to volunteer there are still many ways to take part in the team. Sponsorships to the C4 team help student riders fund new equipment, jerseys, loaner bikes, and the race day Pit Zone. To support the team and get exposure for your business, ask about getting featured on our jerseys. Contact Adam or Jessica via our email at [email protected] or stop by the shop, we’d love to chat with you!
